Inside mount blinds are installed inside the window opening. Enter the exact size of the window opening NOT the size of the blind. The factory will make a small deduction from your width to allow space for the hardware operation.

Outside mount blinds are installed outside the window opening to trim, a wall, or a door. Enter the exact size of the blind you want to order. The factory will make no deductions.

NOTE

  • Minimum depth for inside mount is 1.18 inches
  • An outside mount application will be necessary if your window does not meet the minimum depth requirement
  • Inside mount deduction is approximately 0.12 inch off of cassette width for better installation.
  • Fabric width will be approximately 0.16 inches less than the top track width to ensure proper fit and operation.

Inside Mount Window Measurement.

Measure The Width:
1. The width measurement is taken from the inside edge of the window frame at the top.
2. If you are getting a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round down to the nearest 1/8". (For example, if the smallest measurement is 24 9/16", round down to 24 1/2". If it's 24 3/8", no need to round down.)
3. This will be the width you order.
Measure The Hight:
1. The height measurement is taken from the window frame in three places (top left, center, and top right down to the window sill).
2. Record the largest height out of the 3 measurements up to the nearest 1/8".
3. If you are getting a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round up to the nearest 1/8". (For Example, If the largest measurement is 24 9/16", round up to 24 5/8". If it's 24 1/2", no need to round up.)
4. This will be the height you order.
PLEASE NOTE:
We will make all the necessary deductions based on the measurements you provide during checkout. Do not make your own deductions. Don't add to the width to make up for any deductions that we will take.

2. You'll use the largest of the three measurements and add the recommended minimum of 4 inches to it. This will ensure the window is properly covered.
